How to share a web page made with ChatGPT in WeChat

ChatGPT can build a whole web page, but sending it to WeChat usually means screenshots or a zip nobody can open. LivePage is the publish button for agents: it hosts the page as a link that opens directly in WeChat and can be forwarded to friends or groups.

You can publish one piece without signing in: a web page, Markdown, PDF, PPTX or images, expiring after 7 days with up to 50 readers. Sign in for permanent links that keep the same address across updates.

Three steps

  1. Connect ChatGPT to LivePage

Open the setup page and paste its prompt into ChatGPT. It connects to LivePage by following the guide; you sign in once in the browser on the first call.

  2. Tell ChatGPT to publish

For example: “Publish this page with LivePage and show me a preview first.” ChatGPT uploads the page with its images, shows a preview, and shares only after you confirm.

  3. Send the link in WeChat

Open the link in WeChat and use the top-right menu to forward it to a friend or group. When you change the page, publish again and the link stays the same.

Say this to your assistant

Publish this web page with LivePage and show me a preview first. After I confirm, set it to passcode and I will send it to friends in WeChat.

FAQ

Does the recipient need to install anything?

No. The link opens directly in WeChat on phones and computers, with no sign-up or download.

Will images, scripts and fonts in the page work?

Yes. Keep images in the same folder as the page; scripts, styles and fonts from the web keep working. The page runs as written.

Who can see it by default?

Only you. Switch to passcode or public when you want others to see it; switching back to private cuts access immediately, and you can rotate the address if the link leaks.

Do I need a new link after editing?

No. Publish again and the same link switches to the new version; messages you already sent keep working.

Can I tell whether anyone read it?

You can see whether it was opened, how far people read and how long they stayed. Only device and page activity is recorded, never identities.

What if my ChatGPT plan cannot add connectors?

Use any assistant that supports remote MCP (Claude, WorkBuddy, CodeBuddy and others) with the same setup page, or skip signing in: open the quick share page and upload the page file to publish one piece that expires after 7 days with up to 50 readers; sign in when you want to keep it.
